Nursing Process & Application to practice


Abstract
The nursing process has been accepted as the essence of nursing. The nursing process is a systematic, scientific problem-solving method used by nurse and client to identify problems, plan solutions, implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
The steps of the nursing process are 1 Assessment, 2 Planning, 3 Implementation and 4 Evaluation.
The steps of community nursing process are 1 Community Health Assessment,2 Identifying Standards & Principles, 3 Setting Priorities, 4 Establishing Goals for action, 5 Selecting Method & means, 6 Formulating the Plan, 7 Formulating the Evaluation Plan, 8 Implementation, 9 Evaluation.
Thus, the nursing process is a data, collecting, decision making process that incorporates evaluation and subsequent modification as feedback mechanisms that promote the ultimate resolution of the client¢¥s nursing diagnosis.
